Serve 2013

September  7 & 8, 2013

The third annual September Serve weekend found over 50 St. Mark's members serving our Florissant neighbors on Saturday and many more participating in the food drive on Sunday.  St. Mark's worked on four projects on Saturday and held the food drive on Sunday.

  • At T.E.A.M. Food Pantry volunteers painted, replaced blinds, installed a toilet and other handyman projects.
  • Team Reeb Apartments cleaned gardens, washed windows & blinds, and readied the Higher & Higher apartment for another year of tutoring.
  • Residents at St. Sophia Center truly enjoyed the help of our volunteers with their Bingo games.
  • Team Boone helped an 85 year old home-owner with yard issues. Chain saws, weed wackers, clippers, rakes, ladders were all used and yard bags were filled to help make the yard look amazing again.
  • Bags and bags of food items filled the collection box on Sunday and went to T.E.A.M. Food Pantry to help fill their shelves.

The hands and feet of God's servants were busy on Serve 2013 weekend!
