St. Mark’s offers more than 50 opportunities for you to be in ministry within the church building, within the Florissant community, within the St. Louis community and beyond.

Through the Children’s Ministries you can be involved in the Christmas Play, Children’s Worship Hour, F.R.O.G., and Vacation Bible School.

Community Outreach and Missions such as Mozambique initiative, Share A Christmas, T.E.A.M., Fashions For Food, Higher & Higher Club, Tutoring at Combs School, Funeral Meals, and Caring Friends are ways to reach out to others.

To help with Education and Spiritual Formation there is the Education Committee, Library, Sunday School Teachers and Substitutes, Dialogue Group, and Sunday School Classes for youth and adults  to be a part of.

If you enjoy Fellowship time there is our Coffee and Donut Time and Fellowship Meal Servers.

Some Fund Raisers are Chili Supper, Trivia Night, and Cookies-to-Go.

You can assist the Inviting Team and Prayer areas such as Daily Prayer, Prayer List and Prayer Wall Ministry.

The joy of music is shared through our Sunrise Singers, the Praise Band, and as Accompanists and Instrumentalists.

If you like to stitch there are groups such as Needlecrafts from the Heart, Knit Wits, Quilters, Shawl Ministries, Praying Hands and Summertime Stitchers.

Men can be involved through the United Methodist Men’s group and help with Grocery Certificate Sales, Pancake Breakfast, Barbecues, and Recycling Program.

The United Methodist Women’s group has six circle groups that meet for fellowship, study and mission projects in small groups. UMW also holds fundraisers, does mission work, and hosts an annual Women’s Retreat for all ladies of the church.

Through the area of worship there is the Worship Committee, Banner Ministry, Communion Stewards and Servers, Greeters, Liturgists, Ushers, and the Media Ministry.

The Youth Group and Youth Mission Trips offer a way for our youth to be in ministry.
