Worship services each Sunday are offered through two different worship styles with our  9 a.m. Traditional Service and our 10:45 a.m. Contemporary Service. By offering these two different styles it is our hope that we can reach out to more people for the sake of Jesus Christ. Our Pastor, Rev. John Gregory, leads us in worship each Sunday morning.

At our 9 a.m. Traditional Service you will find the choir leading us in song, responsive readings, and many wonderful time-honored practices.

Our 10:45 a.m. Contemporary Service seeks to help us experience God through word, prayer and current Christian music lead by our Praise Band.

Worship is a time when we come together with others to draw ever closer to God. It is our response to the presence of God in our lives. It is also a time for those who are seeking to know God in their lives. We worship through singing praises to God, in prayer to strengthen our communication with God, through scriptures and the spoken word to draw nearer in our understanding of God, and through sacraments to strengthen our relationship with God. Worship is one of our action verbs as Christians.

Communion is served at St. Mark's on the first Sunday of each month at both services. Below is some information about communion.

Communion for web

  • At St. Mark's we serve Communion by the method of intinction. When you come to the front of the sanctuary break off a piece of the consecrated bread and dip it into the consecrated cup (juice) and thus partaking of the sacraments.
  • I am a Christian, but not a United Methodist. Am I invited to receive Communion in a United Methodist church? Yes indeed. It is the Lord's Supper, not ours, and it is Christ who invites you. As our ritual puts it: "Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin and seek to live in peace with one another." We do not refuse any who present themselves desiring to receive.
  • May I attend a United Methodist Communion service and not receive Communion? Yes indeed. We do not want anyone to feel unwelcome because, for whatever reason, they do not choose to receive Communion. Simply remain seated when others go forward and no one will question what you do.
